Think and Ink Grant Consulting® is a grant consulting firm founded by Shavonn Richardson, MBA, GPC, that serves nonprofits, government entities, and colleges and universities across the United States. The firm is known for its patented Think.Ink.FUND® Framework, a strategic grant-writing approach that aligns organizational strategy with funder expectations before a single word is written. For nearly a decade, Think and Ink Grants has helped large organizations with budgets of $3 million and up win grants through rigorous planning and execution.
The firm is a Certified B Corp whose mission is to help organizations “think” through grant-seeking strategies and “ink” competitive proposals, with a vision to help organizations change the world community by community. Shavonn Richardson previously served as both a nonprofit leader seeking funding and as a corporate foundation program manager distributing over $1.2 million annually to nonprofits. From both sides of the table, she saw too many organizations miss the mark by applying without a strategy, misreading funder questions, and underestimating execution expectations.
